Starting from 1 October 2025, SmartPosti’s parent company Posti will shorten the parcel storage period in Finland from seven days to five, both in parcel lockers and service points.
Over 97% of Posti parcels in Finland are collected within five days. However, there are occasions when the most popular parcel lockers become full, leaving no space for new deliveries. A shorter storage period frees up lockers more quickly, which means that a larger number of customers can receive their parcels from their preferred locker sooner.
