Gediminas Mickus becomes Vice President for the Baltics and joins leadership team of Posti Group’s ecommerce and delivery business

Posti Group, the parent company of logistics provider SmartPosti, renews the organizational structure in eCommerce and Delivery Services business group (eCD). The target is to strenghten growth, especially in Baltics.

Gediminas Mickus, who has been with Posti since 2019, has been appointed Vice President, Baltics as of June 1, 2025. He will also join the leadership team of the business group (eCommerce and Delivery Services). The position, directly contributing to decision making of the business group, increases the role and visibility of the Baltic region and accelerates joint business development in all countries.

At the beginning of this year, the parcel delivery company Smartpost Itella officially changed its name and brand to SmartPosti across all Baltic countries. The move aimed to establish a unified and more recognizable brand in the international market. In 2024, Posti Group invested €2 million in expanding the parcel locker network in the region. Today, the Baltic and Finland network includes over 4,100 delivery points. In Lithuanian, SmartPosti serves its customer with 297 service points.
